DORNER as intercultural employer
DORNER Health IT Solutions was honored for its many years of integration work and diversity management with regard to employees of non-German origin.
The "Certificate of Commitment" award took place as part of the EU-funded "EUDiM" project, which spent two years investigating novel and effective ways of dealing with cultural diversity in medium-sized companies. The project was initiated by a cooperation of business, social and migration research institutions from Bayreuth, Bamberg, Rome, Barcelona and Vienna and aimed to investigate the diversity management of small and medium-sized enterprises across several countries in order to develop recommendations for the effective handling of cultural diversity on this basis.
For many years DORNER has relied on the competent cooperation of highly qualified colleagues from China, India, Syria, Bulgaria, Russia, Poland, Chile, Ecuador, Spain, France and Turkey. Particularly in the area of development, but also in service, sales and administration, the support of our specialists from other cultures has become indispensable.
At DORNER, they are pleased about initiatives such as the EU-funded EUDiM project under the motto "Making Diversity Work", which elaborates strategies to support medium-sized companies even more strongly in integration and diversity management in the future.
