Our Microbiology Laboratory Information System offers comprehensive pathogen and resistance monitoring capabilities. With automatic notifications of reportable pathogens or results and the ability to send alerts to the hospital information system, we support you in the early detection and control of infections. In doing so, we support current standards, such as the classification of multidrug-resistant gram-negative rods or the DEMIS interface for reports to the RKI, health authorities or other agencies. Analytics – M/Lab

Even during order entry, M/La] offers a wide range of options to meet individual needs and preferences. This starts with direct integration via an order entry system (e.g., DORNER Order Entry), which enables the electronic transmission of orders. In addition, various scanning solutions are available that allow order documents to be easily scanned and integrated into the system. This provides a practical way to convert physical order documents into digital formats and optimize the workflow. In addition, the i/med OrderManagement module offers a user-friendly interface for manually entering, editing, and managing orders. These flexible order entry options allow users to choose the method that best fits their workflows.

M/Lab is characterized by its intuitive user interface. In the analytics section, M/Lab’s bacteriology module features a clear tree structure that assists in the organization and management of samples and results. In the serological module, on the other hand, data is displayed in the form of clusters in a tabular view, which enables quick and efficient entry and analysis of serological data. These different display formats make the work of laboratory staff easier and contribute to the effective and efficient performance of laboratory analyses.

M/Lab offers flexibility in report generation and enables automated delivery of reports to the referring physician or the treating physician’s third-party software. The report layout can be customized to match the laboratory’s corporate identity and various report types. A history overview provides access to previous reports, antibiotic susceptibility tests, and test results.

Accounting

With the i/med Billing module, we offer a powerful solution for billing in the field of microbiology. The module enables efficient billing in accordance with the applicable specifications and guidelines. It supports the automatic generation of billing items and offers comprehensive functions for correcting and checking billing data. This solution optimizes the billing process, reduces sources of error and ensures a smooth workflow.

Statistics

Our IT laboratory solution for microbiology/bacteriology, serology and hygiene offers extensive statistical functions. With modules such as i/med Query and MedReport Hygiene, detailed queries, analyses and evaluations of laboratory data can be carried out. In addition, data access via ODBC enables simple and efficient integration of microbiology data into other systems and applications.

Quality control

Our Microbiology LIS offers various quality control functions for accredited laboratories. The laboratory software can be used to define, manage and monitor internal quality control procedures, e.g. by defining and recording regular quality control tests.
