Our modular and flexible Forensic LIMS is based on the DORNER Workflow Engine, a low-code web framework that allows workflows, rules, documents and even the user interface to be customized according to the individual workflows of the departments and institutes. This ensures maximum autonomy in the individual departments while enabling efficient interdisciplinary cooperation within the institute.

Security is our top priority. Our software solution is subject to the highest security standards, including encrypted communications (HTTPS, SFTP, SSH, SSL/TLS, PGP, VPN) and comprehensive security audits. Our Forensics LIMS offers a modular design with a multi-client concept that includes various functional modules. With the integrated user administration and role concept, access rights and controls can be managed effectively. In addition, LIMS supports uniform evidence object number assignment, the connection of analysis devices, and comprehensive quality control. Function modules

Forensic medicine and imaging

Our functional modules include the 'Forensic Medicine and Imaging' module, which covers a variety of examination methods such as morphology, entomology, pathology and histology. It also includes common workflows of a violent victim ambulance, including autopsy, necropsy, time of death determination, identification of unknown bodies and body parts, and forensic imaging.

Forensic toxicology and chemistry

Forensic toxicology and chemistry is another functional module that analyzes blood and urine samples for alcohol, drugs, and medications. It also includes abstinence programs, concomitant substance analysis, drug and narcotic analysis, and chemical toxicology tests for drugs and toxins.

Forensic molecular biology

Our 'Forensic molecular biology' function module enables the identification of unknown deceased persons, the investigation of biological traces and parentage assessments such as paternity tests.

Traffic Medicine

We also offer the 'traffic medicine' functional module, which includes abstinence checks using hair analysis, traffic medical assessments and traffic psychological assessments.

Consil Portal

Our 'Consultation portal' function module enables simple and fast telemedical transmission of examination data by doctors to the institute. The web-based portal can be easily accessed via a URL in any browser and offers user-friendly and intuitive operation, optimized for tablets.
